Quick Character Painting...

And practice. :) I still have a looooong way's to go, but I've been trying to use less lineart and more color in my pictures seeing as that seems what people like to see. Honestly, I'm liking the results as well, but I know I'll hate it in about 3 days from now. This is a quasi "doodle," (that took a couple of hours but shh) but I'd be interested in any feedback you folks have to offer!

Ooooohh, nice. You made the transition from line to form very smoothly. The only thing that I could crit on would be that your cast shadows are going into the black range (such as under the shoulder piece on the left arm), try throwing them toward a saturated violet.

Very pretty.

Hey! This came out well!

The only sort of critique I have is a really nit-picky one: The post of his hands seems kind of funny to me. When people cross their arms, don't they usually have one hand on the outside of their arms and one of them tucked in, rather than both tucked in? Other than that, I think it looks cool.
